Cookie Policy
Exactly what BrightJobs stores in your browser, and why you are not asked for cookie consent.
1. The short version
BrightJobs does not use analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracking.
The only things we store in your browser are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep you signed in. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, strictly necessary storage does not require consent, which is why BrightJobs does not show a cookie banner. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting anything non-essential.

3. Payment pages
When you pay the setup fee or set up a Direct Debit you are taken to a payment page hosted by Stripe or GoCardless. Those companies set their own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention on their pages, governed by their own cookie notices. The same applies to your own customers if you enable card payments on your job reports.
4. Managing browser storage
You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings. Clearing it will sign you out of BrightJobs and forget the “Remember me” preference, but will not delete any of your business data.
